Windows has always reserved system memory for video no matter what kind of video 
your PC has.
Vista is the only version of Windows that allows the user to see it.
Vista will use the reserved video memory if you start running out of system memory.
The problem with the 8800 is common right now. Nvidia should fix it soon.
