Question about 'Edit File Types in Windows Vista'

I have a question about Edit File Types in Windows Vista:

I am interested in anyone else's experiences with the File Type Doctor feature of Creative Element Power Tools.

I tried it, and my view is that it would solve the lack of context (ie right-click) menu edit in Vista, but only if it works properly. It seemed that the 'Scope' specification did not work.

If I added an application to the .JPG context menu and specified a scope 'All JPEG image files' then it added the application to ALL image files - .TIF, .BMP, .GIF etc.

If I specified scope '.jpg files only' it failed to add the application at all.
