Remove dial-up connection networking popup

I installed a dial-up network connection as my second Internet connection option. After this operation, a dialup popup appeared every time a software package accessed the Internet. The connect popup had to be cancelled to use the old (high speed access) connection. This annoyance ended when I right-clicked the dial-up icon in Control Panel.Network and Sharing Center.Manage Network Connections and removed the default option. Hope this removes another annoyance.
