Right click the taskbar and select "Task Manager". Click on the "Processes" tab and 
look at the "CPU" column. Check the box at the bottom that says "Show processes from 
all users"
The image name called "System Idle Process" should be the only one hanging around 
97%. All the others should be at 00% or 01%. You will see one that is a higher percentage 
than the rest.
Name it here or do a google search to find out what the process is.

Let us know what process is hogging the CPU.
