Thanks for your reply but... As I mentioned in my original message, I have already
experimented with vertical icon spacing, icon size, etc. Vista simply will not allow
any of the bottom row icons to line up reasonably close to the bottom anchored task
bar. (Except for the Recycling Bin icon, IF it is on the far left, center or far
right!) What a truly infuriating iteration of Windows this has been. Nothing but
a pretty face, the "dumb blonde" from Redmond. GRRR!
