I know. I too am not resistant to change and happily moved from Windows 98SE to XP.

I have tried Vista and I don't know how to characterise my reaction - I think its 
best summed up as the upside isn't worth the downside - much of it feels like change 
for change's sake, designed by geeks who don't really understand usability for the 
common person.

I rather think my new XP system might last until Unix becomes a viable alternative 
. . . we'll see, and in the meantime I seem to be sitting in a happier place than 
many of my Vista-disabled neighbours and friends.

Maybe its just too early for ordinary folk to have Vista.
