When I do a search for duplicate files, many are coming up as being in the C:/windows.old directory. But when I go there, the folder is empty (save for a few empty sub-folders), and I can't delete it. I've tried changing the properties, doing it from DOS, etc. but I just can't. I am an American expat in Korea and am stuck using Korean Windows. I can read it somewhat but not as freely as I can English, especially technical stuff. The answer may be right in front in me, but I'm sure not seeing it. Can I delete this folder? I'm happy to delete the old Windows information though it's coming up as empty (it's the same version, same serial number of the current OS). How do I do so?
