Access Denied - Network printing from Vista to XP Home

Ok, here's my situation. I've got three computers on my network. My main computer
is a custom build running Vista Business. The secondary is a slightly refitted HP
Pavilion XT993 running XP Home. And then there's my fiancee's laptop, also running
XP Home. The only printer is an HP PSC 2110 connected to the XT993.
I've got file & printer sharing on all three. I use file sharing almost every day
with no problems. My fiancee frequently prints things from her laptop over the network,
again with no problems. But when I try to connect my Vista computer to that printer,
I get this error: "Windows cannot connect to the printer. Access is denied."
I'm not sure what to do about this. I've eliminated the firewalls and antivirus
as possible causes. I can send and receive files with the Vista computer. I don't
see how sharing permissions could be responsible because XP Home doesn't have advanced
permissions, so it should be full access.
So if it's not the sharing setup, and it's not any sort of network interference (firewalls,
etc.), and it's not permissions... any ideas?
