(1)  Restart the XP Home computer in Safe mode.  Navigate to c:\windows\system32\spool 
and share that folder and subfolders to the Everyone group.

(2)  Ensure both the XP computer and the Vista computer are members of the same workgroup.

(3)  Restart the XP computer normally.

(4)  Try it.
