I am trying to find a way to turn off the redundant requests for permission for many things I do in Vista. Why does the OS not recognize me as the administrator, owner, or number one guy around here? I am the only one who uses the machine, I live alone and therefore find no need for passwords for anything having to do with my computers. Any help would be appreciated. Leni
