Disable Explorer From Startup?

Can you Disable Explorer From Startup? I have RocketDock setup and no longer need Explorer clogging up memory when its not in use. I've looked everywhere for a solution to this annoyance and can't find one. I currently have 2 start task manager a kill the process, but thats also annoying. Windows defender lists Explorer as a startup item but don't give you the option to stop it running at startup.
