Vista Premium 64 bit won't load DVD Driver

I have a IDE Lite-On DVD Writer in the new PC. It's been working for a couple of months now with no problems. I went to install a Samsung SATA DVD Writer too. Vista tried to install the device, then a message came up stating that the device driver was blocked and that I should go to the Samsung site for their driver. Samsung has no driver for Vista, much less Vista 64 bit. Now Vista is saying the same thing about the Lite-On driver. I went to their web site and you guessed it. No driver needed. I've uninstalled and taken out the Samsung and uninstalled the lite-on with no success. I went back to a restore point before the installation and it didn't do any good. All I get is the little yellos exclamation point in the device manager beside the Lite-On Drive. The bios is seeing the drive with no problems. (Intel DP35DP Board, Intel E 4500 Processor, 4 gigs RAM, Windows Vista 64 bit) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
