By typing in "Using System Configuration" into your help search, you will be offered
a nice page of information on changing your settings. Use caution!
Unless you desire to be the next person blaming everything on MS. You can do damage
here. There are readily available sites in Google, listing the most common startup
programs, who uses them and why they are there. This list will vary according to
your particular machine and usage. Try to stay out of "Services" unless you are well
educated on what you are tweaking.
