I can't get control/alt/delete to do anything.  Only a long wait produces the error 
message, a black screen, or a desktop background with no icons and no reaction from 
any keys.  Only thing that works is a hard boot.

today as part of diagnostics, I loaded SP#1 for Vista, and will track to see if crashes 
continue.
