Either in "Prograns" and whatever program you choose or on a desktop Icon, Right
click then choose the compatibility tab at the top. From there you can get in depth
settings that used to be installed by the software. Now that I know a little more
about you machine and situation, I'm susre you have already done so, but I have to
ask. Did you try to restart your machine and then re-install the program? You don't
sound like an ameture so if I get too far ahead of you YELL at me! Virtual settings
& devices should be installed by the software. You may want to try to duplicat the
regisrty setting that you first mentioned from what the working machne has to that
of the other none coaperative machine. ONLY DOCUMENT every last letter and move you
make. Also back up the registry before you modify it. Also these registry CLEANERS
are the worst thing you can put on a Vista machine. There are empty keys etc that
Vista needs and they just go in and wipe them out. And if they did any good in Win
XP it was so slight, you couldn't measure it.
