Don't worry about SP1 if you are up to date. You can R. click on My Computer, select
properties and it will list SP1 under your Vista system if it is on your machine.
Device drivers are another thing. I gripe about manufacturers not following MS rules
when they write stuff for Vista, but on the other hand MS isn't in the Vid Card buss.
either. Use the driver that is from you Card's Manufacturer. They made the *$%#$(
thing and they hopefully are the ones that know what it takes to make it run. I have
known more machines brought down by bad drivers. This is a very fine line I'm talking
about here. You are damned if you do and damned if you don't. Also watch out for
sites that offer you drivers (especially if you have to join) when you have the latest
from the manuf. Also if it is working well and you aren't trying to OC a vid card
or something out of the ordinary, don't update what is working fine.
