I agree with that totally. You H/D is being recognized. Not the DVD. It's been a long time since I ran a Gigabyte, but you should be offered a Single Phrase (mine is at the bottom of the screen), asking if you wish to boot from the CD/DVD. Of course this won't be offered till we can get you MoBo to see the drive! Thanks to the other fellow that got the book to view, I have been trying to D/L it from Giga.. for 2 days now. They are responding like they are using dial-up. Bottom line is first recognize the device!
