Hi all, Just installed SP1 more or less successfully but lost my sound so clicked on the sound card in device manager & did an 'update' but I also have a Freecom 500gB external USB disk. I powered it on and got a blue screen but rebooted & every time I attach/disconnect it comes up with nastygram saying unrecognized USB device (and displays in device manager as such) so any ideas how I can resolve this. I vaguely recall having similar yonks ago & pointed it to System 32 or something for a driver but not sure now so any 'magic' would be good. Further testing of this service pack to happen but I hoped it would work fine & it is suppsoed to help slow file transfer etc which is primarily why I installed it. BTW, Vista home premium. Thanks in advance.
