I found Shawn's replies using the Start, Run and Regedit command to access the Registry Editor in order to repair a "hide and seek" Task Manager very informative and interesting. I had the same problem with the Task Manager. It did a disappearing trick on me. After searching the net I came upon a couple of websites, which contain nearly as helpful information as one presented by Shawn, at: http:///www.vistax64.com/tutorial/ 1033275-task-manager-enable-disable.html. Glance at these two at: http://www.taskmanagerfix.com/ and also check: http://www.pchell.lcom/support/taskmanagerdisabled.shtml. With the info from both websites and of course the one Shawn showed us, I fine tuned my task manager and now it is running like a cheetah! Thanx a lot.
