Hi guys,

Just a long shot (but hey if you don't ask you don't get:-)

I have a new pc running Vista Home premium (SPI plus all patches) & it came with
an inbuilt Philips TV tuner/card thing.. (at least the remote is ha) & running Windows
Media Centre to display the TV, so here's the thing every so often you fire up the
TV and it says there is no signal blah & you have to go through power down/up then
setup/scan to get them all back (EPG guide sees channels but when you click on them
nothing)

We have a perfect signal here & a power cycle/rescan always fixes but it's tedious
to do this but doesn't always happen so I can't figure out a usage pattern. I don't
know how to check for updates (Windows Media Centre) apart from the usual windows
update site which presumably checks your software anyhow.

I'm convinced it's not hardware (though it could be a weird fault with the card I
guess) but some patch/driver blah but can't see one.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this or some helpful words.

Thanks in advance.

Gary
