Incompatable issues between Adobe and Windows Vista

I keep getting messages that there is a compatability issue between Adobe and Windows
Vista. sometimes I am unable to pull up an attachment or get into a program I wish
to see. Occasionally a program I am trying to access just goes away. I have no idea
how to correct this problem and am unable to find a phone number for adobe or any
meaninfull info at this site. I am elderly and not terribly computer Literate but
would like to get rid of these problems
