A shutdown versus reboot still suggests, to me at least, a shielding problem.

Try shutting down media center and disconnecting the antenna (at the card) for about 
30 seconds when it fails again. Then just re-start media center.

You could also try re-seating the card in it's slot, but you must be VERY CAREFUL 
as parts placement, including any wire routing, is very important on tuners. Even 
a bad bump during shipping could have knocked something out of tolerance (on the 
card itself), causing this intermittent failure.

You might also have a problem with external RF interference: cordless phones, 2 way 
radios, wireless (speakers, i-net, printing), etc. If you are not using the telephone 
modem, disable it.
