When this happens, go to Start/Settings/control panel/system/Device Manager (in the
upper left). Is there any yellow "!" showing next to any of the devices listed? Especially
you T.V. adapter. And do it after your reboot. Also how long has the system been
running Hours/Days when this happens? Is it a USB plug in device? Is this a desktop
computer? Have you looked for new drivers for the T.V. Adapter and check their site
to make sure they are compatible with SP1?
