Could someone tell me if it is possible to clone laptop insternal hard drive to usb external hard drive. The internal has 2 partitions the C drive and D drive that has all of the restore items. The reason I am asking is Dell sent me a new hard drive for laptop that has all of the usual stuff that is factorey installed since I had to virtually wipe out the one in my computer because of issues. I was hoping to be able to clone the new one to external hard drive in case this happended again. Before problem started I right clicked and sent everything to external but when issues arose it did not work when I tried to reinstall from the external Thanks
