If it is a wired setup, try changing the wires around and see if the problem changes 
to a diff. machine. Router wire connectors are notorious for failing. Make sure your 
workgroup is the same on all. Though I have connected OK with dissimilar workgroup 
names it is said that Vista is picky about that. Recheck your settings and on the 
router even though you have 3 machines working successfully, there should be a reset 
button. Possibly a small hole that a pin gets inserted into. Try resetting the router. 
Many routers are not Vista compatible out of the box (older ones). See if you can 
get a 'FIRMWARE' update for it.
