I own a hp pavilion slimline s7700n PC. With Vista It is partitioned in 2 drives....c and d. D is the recovery drive. Recently when i go and explore my pc, D is in red and has virtually no space left on it. Now I made recovery disks already when i first purchased the pc. It will put the pc back to orignal factory settings. Can i format the d...to free up space...or will formatting it eliminate my chance of ever recovering in case of a virus or crash? Can someone help me? C has lots of free space. But I dont understand why D has suddenly became so full.....also can i just format it?
