explorer crashes trying to search Monday, May 26, 2008 at 10:22 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Arthur (64 messages posted) When I try to do a search in vista using the explorer search bar, the dialog box comes up saying explorer has stopped working and it restarts explorer. It does this continuously when I click in the search. Occassionally it will do it just having an explorer window open, as well. It tends to crash when I'm navigating explorer from the My Computer toolbar I put on my start bar too. Is there a reason the crashes are occurring and what can I do to stop them, this is getting really annoying!!
