System Error Friday, May 30, 2008 at 6:14 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Charles Parker (23 messages posted) Name I am now getting a system error at reboot and shutdown. I have install SP-1 recently. The error is something like the following: system error code 1404. rtl100. Invalid hook handle. I have tried uninstalling several programs to no avail. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? The machine seems to be running o. k. and it will shut down, but I get the message. The message does not always come up each time. Charles H.
