I have a question about Eliminate 'Multiple Networks' and Get Your Internet Back in Windows Vista:

I have done this process several times, including complete computer restart as well as unselecting TCP6. No matter what I do, the second network always reappears. I should also mention that I am currently overseas for several months where nearly every week we are in a new hotel, and while I've had no problems before, it began randomly several days ago. It had not happened before while in this hotel, but we were trying to set up a router, and the next day, I could no longer access the internet. my roommate, running XP, is not having this problem (i'mon her computer) and it works fine. does anyone know if I have an HP and am running vista... my wireless (what i use at home in the states) is the intel, but the wired LAN ethernet card- my computer is saying it's Marvell Yukon. does that make sense? anyway, i would greatly appreciate any help. thank you!
