Try this instead:
Turn off prompts from UAC
It is a mistake to turn off UAC, not only does UAC help make your PC safer, it's
also the power behind IE's Protected Mode and several other features.
Disable UAC and you'll lose them all. Your system may even develop mysterious new
instabilities as a result.
The best solution is to leave UAC turned on.
But if you're tired of the prompts, launch Regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System.
Double-click ConsentPromptBehaviourAdmin in the right-hand pane, set its value to
0 (use 2 later to restore the default setting), and click OK.
You won't see any more alerts, but UAC will continue to run in the background which
means you'll still benefit from IE's Protected Mode and its other useful features.
