My computer seemed as if it had died ... the screen remained black however there
seemed to be a heartbeat ...
I don't know if I am in the right place or not, but I have been having trouble with
my computer. At first, my computer screen went black and my drive apparently were
working (or something was, from what I can hear inside of my tower) ... but alas
I tried everything from rebooting and restarting from last best known configuration
and nothing helped.
I finally tried updating my BIOS using an USB Flashdrive and have had some moderate
success in getting the BIOS to come up on the screen for a few moments, but then
my computer shuts down completely. Can anyone make any suggestions to help me with
my predicament. I am using an Intel D945GTP Motherboard with a LGA 775 Socket Processor,
1033 MHz (2 sticks of 512MB @ 533 MHz) and I have Vista 32-bit (longhorn version)
installed from an upgrade to which I had Windows XP Media Center prior to installed
prior to the upgrade.
Please reply with some help,
Majorly Frustrated !!!
