A few weeks ago it started having problems, such as: -not allowing connection to SQL server -intermittent ping replies -does not allow remote desktop -startup screen freezes after pressing ctrl-alt-del -pslist from another machine sometimes works, and shows System and storserv.exe using a lot of CPU time After this problem started I replaced the RAM as well as a dead hard drive which I assume was the result of a power outage in the data centre it is housed. I also updated the BIOS and re-installed the chipset drivers. All has been good for a few weeks, but have just started having this problem again. I cant get into the machine right now (as it will need to be hard rebooted for me to get access and i cant get into the data centre right now) but has anyone come across this before?
