Question about 'Uninstall XP Powertoys in Windows Vista' Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2:52 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Phil Carter (1 messages posted) I have a question about Uninstall XP Powertoys in Windows Vista: I followed the posted procedure to remove XP Powertoys from my Vista PC, because I always get the error message about XP Powertoys not being compatible on my Vista PC when I re-boot. The suggested procedure doesn't seem to work, however, because I don't see any ".msi" files in the C:/WINDOWS/DOWNLOADED INSTALLATIONS folder that the suggested procedure tells me to erase. All I see is 2 subfolders with names that are very registry-like. Am I missing something? There are presently no replies to this message.
