Yesterday my HP Compaq Presario SR5110NX PC's
PCI Soft Data Fax Modem suddenly failed as I was trying to connect to a dial-up Internet
service. Today I visited HP's website to download the only two listed drivers for
this modem and found that neither was suitable.
The error message merely briefly said that my Vista PC
(with plenty of HD space and RAM) did not meet the minimum requirements. When I
contacted www.hp.com's Chat Line, I was referred to some other websites. So far
I have not been able to get anywhere. I'll really appreciate help from anyone at
this site.
