Did you shut down ALL programs, especially you Anti-Virus software before doing the
update?
Did you do a stand alone (you installed it from a file) update or did you let MS
update do the installation? I am seeing people have better luck with the stand alone
method, but there are prerequisite update files that need to be run for that method.
I believe that doing these pre-req files many problems are being avoided.
Can you try to disconnect all USB devices and get it to run properly? If not it might
be your USB Buss controller. Try looking for an update for that. I doubt that your
manufacturer even knows what that is so that is probably the first place to check
and then move on to credible sources.
Did you try updating or even UNinstalling the USB Device drivers and reinstalling
them?
Finally if that doesn't help give me the exact error code listed on the BSOD. It
will be toward the bottom of the screen. 'bugcode usb driver' is not a legitimate
error code. It will look something like - Stop 0xC0000218 Error
Finally MS is the first place to go with any update issue. Even if you use an OEM
version of Windows, they guarantee free update service. Find them at the following
