Explorer.exe-Bad Image Error Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 5:26 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Judi S (1 messages posted) Computer will allow me to enter user & password and then I get error message "Explorer.exe-Bad Image" "C:\Windows\system32\SHDOCVW.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or is contains an error." I can not access anything expect I can get to task manager. No icons or start button. Safe mode will not come up either. Computer tried to repair itself but didn't help. It is a dell laptop, Vista operating system.
