Also do you have a linksys WiFi adapter, but could also include Belkin and others.
The RT2500.sys driver is the driver that is causing the issue. BSOD's more often
than not pertain to driver issues. You might try to see if you can install a previous
Driver that knowingly worked well. Linksys driver are often distributed and written
by many different companies in many different places. Make sure of your sources.
Take note of where you get known 'good' drivers (hopefully from the original manufacturer).
I have better luck in my machine with a RAlink driver for this chip. I am currently
having exelent results from the Ver. 3.1.5.0 driver. There are only a small number
of chips that ALL of the manufacturers build around these and they all write their
own drivers. Many times the other guys stuff will work, but don't bet on it.
As I tell everyone, you need to keep a written log of any changes you make, when,
method, software changes, & etc. This is the professional way. A log on your machine
won't help if you can't boot. Get a small spiral notebook and keep it by your machine.
Then you can see what you did just before something has happened.
