I use Gmail & have been getting messages in my Spam folder from time to time stating they are from Me; I know for a fact they are not & have opened a few to check them out. Most are about sexual vitamins & growth pills, others about loans, govm't paydays, military info, etc. I found out this is due to 1 or more people 'spoofing' my addy, my q is this: should I cancel the accout & perhaps create a new one, does the person/people who've done this actually have access to my account & any email addy's I have stored w/in, & how much do I need to worry about this (can my identity be messed with/stolen this way)?
