WHere did you get this laptop? Vista does not install itself with a password. Have
you talked to the people where you purchased it?

I hate to tell you this but Geek Squad (sorry to have to mention them) or any reputable
computer shop will have a utility that can get in and reset the Vista passwords.
If you try to get a copy of it online you take a big chance of getting a virus along
with your new illegal software.

As far as any password associated with the computer manufacturer, you are stuck with
either asking them for help or find a store that has a lost password recovery disk.
This is different than the one they reset the Vista password with. It would also
be illegal and probably unwise to try to get that one yourself.
