About a year ago, I was in task manager (I am running VISTA HOME BASIC) trying to shut down a process, and I accidentally clicked something else, and some how it ended up opening this window (see screen shot below.) if you right click on the task bar tab, nothing happens. You cannot close the window, even by hitting ESC. The only way to get it to go away is by logging off of windows and logging back on. You cannot even Minimalize it and it over-rides all other windows. I need the Task Manager BACK but it won't do it. I tried editing the registry, but when I clicked on Taskmgr.exe it just opened up this same window again. I NEED HELP. What can I do, besides re-install windows? screen shot
