I have a friend with Vista home basic. She's not computer friendly. Somehow, she has put in a password that is now forgotten. I tried to help her over the phone with changing her user name to administrator and log in that way, but she says she can't change that, only the password field. I don't know much about Vista, just an XP guy, but is that normal, that you can't change the user? Could this be a virus of some kind? Anyway, she needs to either be able to blank out that password or fix whatever the problem is. Anybody got some smarts on this? She (and I) would appreciate it! Thanks
