I got this message and I know the reason why but dont know how to fix.

I had dualboot system w/ vista and xp did not want it anymore. so I stupidly, before
removing the bootmgr. deleted the boot partition combined it with the rest of the
other parititon and made that one the boot. but then I boot up and it says bootmgr
is missing...

can someone give me the commands to edit the boot.ini file from dos to make this
a single boot system again? the bootmgr was just plain old windows bootmgr..not a
third party one

thanks
