Black screen Friday, August 7, 2009 at 7:27 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Pat (98 messages posted) I have a Sony Vaio all in one desktop. VGC-JS190D I will get this flicker while working on e-mail in reading off the internet and also in playing games. This flicker will cause my screen to go black for a few seconds it is very annoying and wondering how I can fix it. I sent it to Sony but all they did was re-install saying it was a conflict with other programs. I got it back and it was still doing it without having re-installed my programs. I have re-installed most of my programs but still get that black screen at times. Help Please. My display settings are at 1024X768 and color at highest 32 Bit. My refresh rate is at 60 hertz that is the highest setting that this monitor has . The other setting would be 59 and that's it.
