Linux is not the issue. It's the attempt to restore a Windows Vista MBR/partition
with restore disks, which I now have concluded is impossible, because the restore
data on the HD has been removed. I have two Linux desktops and a Linux laptop on
my home network and favor them over my Windows and Mac desktops and Audrey QNX devices.
It's funny, Mac jihadists show up in the most unlikely places, like a Windows forum.
