I had this problem and using your advice uninstalled the referenced update. It fixed
it for me also, thanks very much for the time saving post. So, the question now
is do we have to suspect Microsofts updates of causing more problems than they fix?
Should I quit accepting updates? So far Vista has been the most troublesome product
I have ever used!! I will buy an Apple next.
