Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 3:15 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ryan (1 messages posted) A (minor) MS Office annoyance: When you try to select a part of a sentence in Word, as your highlight passes over a space, Word insists on changing your selection to include the entire word and/or adjacent spaces. If you go back over the space, without releasing the selection, Word undoes this automatic whole-word+space selection. I can see how this feature can be used effectively by sloppy selectors, but I would much prefer to keep my selection exactly as I selected it, without the extra re-highlight step.
