I'm not trying to STEAL the DVD (seems as though your reply is implying this), just be able to play the movie on my desktop/laptop w/o the DVD. I know this CAN be done, just forgot how.

And I know this is NOT an OS related problem/annoyance, I usually get great help from this forum so I thought I'd ask this Q as well.
