Why is it that no one ever seen to answer a question in a manner that will help the
original question. How can he have the gateway support site search for the serial
number if he can't get on. I ask Gateway the same questions and they still ask me
what is the serial number. I gave them a model number and they still had no answer.
why put the serial number on a strip that can be rubbed off over time and no reference
to the model number of the notebook pc.
