I am recovering an old hard drive using Recuva, but explorer.exe has crashed on my computer. Looking at task manager, explorer is using about 90% of CPU and 1GB ram. Due to this, the time remaining to recover my disk on Recuva has remained on 4 days for some time already (2 days). If I were to end explorer.exe and run it again, would this cancel the recovery, or would it contine. Bear in mind it has already recovered alot of info, if it were to be cancelled it would take a few days to get back to the level it is at now. Thanks
