Extended Monitor Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 3:55 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dewey Nelson (231 messages posted) I use my large screen TV to display photos, slide shows, video, etc. To do so one of the things I must do is go to "Adjust Screen Resolution" where I can select my TV and check "Extend the desktop onto this monitor" and all is well. My problem is that on subsequent usage of my computer (reboot), and the TV is turned off, my TV is no longer checked as "Extend the desktop onto this monitor" so I must go through the whole process again. Is there a way for me to have the computer retain the settings?
